i am so happy i just waited for the aleve to make my cramps irrelevant and then went to school late because the guy who wrote the anthology of rap and came in to talk about invisible man for lit ROCKED OMG he was so interesting and all his comments about invisible man and ralph ellison were so insightful and then later he talked about like black culture i guess and how ellison believed all culture like evolves over time instead of just becoming new u know that was a dumb explanation but w/e i am condensing and adam bradley (the guy who came in) was like “let me show u an example with music!!!!” and he started playing try a little tenderness by bing crosby and then on his next slide right when the picture of otis came up and his version of try a little tenderness played I KNEW WHERE IT WAS GOING OMG I WAS LIKE :O IRL and then he played part of otis too and he was like “speaking of jay and kanye when i was writing common’s memoir with him i met kanye once in the studio” and he went on to talk about kanye and how cool he is omfg AND I WAS STILL LIKE :O IRL THE WHOLE TIME I JUST :O omg and now i have chipotle and very little homework and i didn’t have to go to german today and wow best day ever omfg
